I decided to create card using non-traditional material....acetate/clear film. I have been saving clear films from stamps that I purchased with the intention of making shaker cards. I came across a magazine from 2008 that shows examples of "clearly cards." I was inspired to create one. I learned the best ink for stamping on non-porous surfaces is StazOn ink pad. It dries very quickly and is waterproof...ideal for watercoloring (but not the use of alcohol markers . . . Memento is best).
I created the cards using the color scheme for Altenew August 2021 Inspiration Challenge below:
Check out other crafter's beautiful creations using this color scheme at Altenew Blog: Aug 2021 Inspiration Challenge.
Supplies I used:
Acetate/clear films
StazOn Opaque ink pad - cotton white
Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Poppy
Altenew Script Words 2 Die - "happy"
Altenew Mega Greetings 2 (clear stamp kit) - "BIRTHDAY"
Wow this card is awesome and very elegant with those flowers. Also, that 3d effect of the flower is fantastic. I agree with you it's not a good idea to use StazOn with alcohol makers, Memento and Versafine work better with them. María, xx
