Welcome! The April theme for A Place to Start challenge blog is "Make it elegant." Although this was a very simple card to create, I faced a BIG obstacle in  adhering the gold foiled velum onto the card base. I noticed that if  I use the double adhesive tape, one would notice the "outlines" of the tape. The best solution  I found was to apply glue (thinned by water) with a sponge brush. Be aware if not careful, wrinkles and bubbles occur easily with velum.
