Sometimes the outside is as important as the inside. I was inspired by Nathifa of juicychristains.com to decorate the envelop. I prepped the envelop by using black gesso. I used Hero Arts clear stamp set: Hero Florals - Magnolia which I stamped with VersaMagic cloud white. I embossed the image with Recollections clear embossing powder. I loosely colored with  Prima pigment powder (Treasure Vintage) and oulined with Stampin' Up colored pencils and white gelroll pen for added dimension. For the flap I used Tim Holtz idea-ology Industrious Stickers. The envelop is ready for the insertion of a beautiful card.

Another example of an envelop I decorated is below. This time I used various washi tapes, stencils, and punched flowers.

I hope you are inspired to decorate your envelopes to hold those beautiful creations!
